PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage structure for adjusting a flow rate in a microbe-used sewage treatment apparatus, by which the capacity of the sewage treatment apparatus for decomposing the object to be treated is increased. PSOLUTION: The sewage treatment apparatus is provided with a wire 15 having a partition plate 24 for partitioning a passage 7, through which the object to be treated is made to pass, into two being an upstream side and a downstream side. The partition plate 24 is allowed to get close to or be parted from the bottom surface 7a of the passage 7 in the wire 15. A communicative passage S is formed between the bottom end part 25a of the partition plate 24 and the bottom surface 7a of the passage 7 so that the upstream side of the passage 7 is always communicated with the downstream side even in such a state D that the partition plate 24 gets closest to the bottom surface 7a of the passage 7.
