PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically, efficiently, safely and inexpensively perform the winding of a slit piece without using a core and the high-speed winding work thereof without depending on a manual operation. ;SOLUTION: This device comprises a slit tool for slitting both ends or unnecessary part of a continuously supplied film, a slit piece guide part for continuously guiding the resulting slit piece from the slit tool toward a winder, a hank winding frame for automatically releasing a winding wheel having a prescribed winding diameter by winding the guided slit piece, and a winding bar for automatically winding a slit piece to be newly continuously supplied to the empty winder after releasing the winding wheel. While the winding bar is operated to start a new winding, the slit piece is moved near the center to cut the slit piece connected to the winding wheel by a slit piece cutting means.
