PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective member (boots) of an optical fiber ribbon attachable onto the side of the optical fiber ribbon installed in a connector ferrule.;SOLUTION: The protective member 6 of the optical fiber ribbon is constituted to form a slit 8 on the side edge so it can be attached to at least one optical fiber ribbon 2, 3 connected to the ferrule 4 of the optical fiber connector.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
