Use of a TNF antagonist and pharmaceutical composition containing a TNF antagonist

Using of a TNF antagonist in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of endometriosis wherein the TNF antagonist is a sequestering antagonist or a signalling antagonist. The described antagonists are selected among various classes of molecules, preferably are soluble TNF receptors, which are useful for the regression of endometric lesions and in combination with other active agents also for improving associated disorders, such as e. g. infertility.
