A method of manufacturing a brush lamella in tufts (10), whose brush lamella (10) is intended to be used in a sweeper, and whose brush lamella (10) is formed by separate brush tufts (13) formed of brush filaments (16), which are connected to an axial piece (11), characterized in that the brush lamella (10) is manufactured using a molding process, in which - a brush preform (23) is formed of the brush filaments (16) joined together using a molding mass (30), - the formed brush preform (23) is carried between mold halves (17.1, 17.2), and - when the mold halves (17.1, 17.2) they press each other, the axial piece (11), to which the bristle tufts (13) are connected, the molding mass (30) is formed, and the brush preform (23) is cut in the said tufts of bristles (13) separated in the circumferential direction.
