A continuous heating furnace capable of efficiently burning a fuel while suppressing the occurrence of NOx.The continuous heating furnace comprises a furnace body (10) provided with a plurality of heat treatment zones arranged in the conveying direction in which a steel is conveyed from a loading side to an unloading side, a gas duct which is formed on the most upstream side in the conveying direction and into which a furnace atmosphere flowing into the furnace body in the direction opposite to the conveying direction flows, and a plurality of burners formed in the side walls (12) of the furnace body.？ The burner comprises an air supply passage (32) terminating at an air supply port (31) for supplying air into the furnace and fuel supply passages (34) which are disposed at an interval around the air supply port and which terminate at respective fuel supply ports (33a, 33b) for supplying a fuel into the furnace.？ In the burner, the fuel supply passages terminating at the respective fuel supply ports which are disposed further on the upstream side than the air supply ports in the conveying direction are tilted to the air supply port side toward the end thereof.
