The absorption of S-adenosyl-L-methionine can be improved by ingesting S-adenosyl-L-methionine concomitantly with a polycarboxylic acid.？ S-Adenosyl-L-methionine is mixed with a polycarboxylic acid to provide a composition which is improved in the absorption of S-adenosyl-L-methionine.？ The composition thus produced can be used as a food, a food with a nutrient function, a food for specified health uses, a nutritional supplement, a nutrient, a beverage, a veterinary medicine, a feed, a cosmetic, a quasi drug, a drug, a therapeutic agent, a prophylactic agent or the like without any modification, or can be processed into the above-mentioned product.
