Disclosed is a rolling element screw device wherein the stroke distance of a nut member (2) is not reduced even if a sufficient amount of lubricant is attached to the nut member; the heat release of the nut member (2) is not spoiled; and a lubricant tank (4) can be easily replaced. The rolling element screw device is comprised of a plurality of rolling elements (5); a screw shaft (1) having an outer periphery in which a rolling groove (10) for the rolling elements (5) is helically formed; a nut member (2) which has a through-hole (20) to which the screw shaft (1) is inserted, and which is screw-engaged with the screw shaft (1) via the rolling elements (5); lubricant supply holes (29) formed so as to penetrate the nut member (2) from the outer peripheral surface to the inner peripheral surface thereof; a lubricant tank (4) which is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the nut member (2), and which has a storage chamber for the lubricant; and a lubricant applying element (43) which extends from the lubricant tank (4), and which is inserted to the lubricant supply hole (29) in association with an attaching operation of the lubricant tank (4) to the nut member (2).
