LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK HAVING A BUFFERING UNIT, AND A FLOATING MARINE STRUCTURE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquefied gas storage tank and a floating marine structure having the same are provided to relieve impact, caused by sloshing generated by flowing liquefied gas, by installing a buffering unit in a wall of the liquefied gas storage tank.;CONSTITUTION: A liquefied gas storage tank comprises sealing walls(44,46), insulation walls(45,47), and a buffering unit(50). The sealing wall prevents the leak of liquefied gas stored in the liquefied gas storage tank. The insulation wall insulates the liquefied gas storage tank. The buffering unit is installed on the sealing wall, and absorbs impact caused by sloshing. The buffering unit does not contact the liquefied gas.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
