CONTACTLESS TORQUE SENSOR FOR A STEERING APPARATUS, CAPABLE OF DETECTING THE TWIST ANGLE OF AN OUTPUT SHAFT WITHOUT SECONDARY INDUCTION PROCESS OF MAGNETISM
PURPOSE: A contactless torque sensor for a steering apparatus is provided to detect twist from changes in the magnetic force when a rotational angle difference occurs due to the twist of an output shaft connected to wheels.;CONSTITUTION: A contactless torque sensor for a steering apparatus comprises a magnetic force generation part(110) in which N-pole and S-pole magnets(114,115) are arranged alternately, a magnetic flux shield part(120) which is connected to an output shaft(20) and has a plurality of holes(121,122) in which the N-pole and the S-pole magnets are placed, a magnetic flux detecting part(130) which is installed separate from the outer surface of the magnetic flux shield part and detects the magnetic flux passing through the holes, and a magnetic force sensing part(140) which is formed on the outer surface of the magnetic flux shield part and detects changes in relative twisting of the magnetic flux shield part and the magnetic force generation part.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
