PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a photocatalyst silica gel and the photocatalyst silica gel thereby are provided to prevent mechanical abrasion of the photocatalyst produced in a water treatment process, and to perform a manufacturing process without a separated high temperature annealing facility.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a photocatalyst silica gel comprises the following steps: exposing silica gel to the water-soluble gas; permeating water-soluble gas into the silica gel; throwing the water-soluble gas into a photocatalyst aqueous solution; inserting the photocatalyst into a micro pore of the silica gel; separating silica gel in which the photocatalyst is inserted into the photocatalyst solution, and drying. The diameter of the micro pore of the silica gel is 250~600 nm. The water-soluble gas is ammonia gas.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
