The present invention relates to: a silica gel containing a photocatalyst for removing a volatile organic compound in which a surface thereof is reformed by irradiating an electron beam; and a manufacturing method thereof. The silica gel containing the photocatalyst for removing the volatile organic compound according to the present invention comprises a porous silica gel and the photocatalyst for removing the volatile organic compound which is inserted into the porous silica gel, wherein the photocatalyst for removing the volatile organic compound is obtained by irradiating the electron beam by using an electron beam accelerator, having an energy range of 1 to 5 MeV, to a powder-type photocatalyst to reform the surface of the powder-type photocatalyst.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
