PURPOSE: A ship block placement device and a method thereof for reducing the decision error of a ship block arrangement are provided to reduce the error of the ship block arrangement by performing efficient batch process.;CONSTITUTION: A database stores the location information of a ship block. A video photographing unit(110) takes a photograph of the monoscopic image and front image about the ship block. A block image processor(120) extracts topology data of the ship block from the monoscopic image. The block image processor extracts the feature point information from the front image information.
