The device has a slide (6) that moves across an inclined surface (21) of a body (2) between a blocked position, in which a passage section of a rope (4) is reduced to prevent displacement of the rope in a direction, and a free position in which the passage section is increased. The displacement of the rope causes the displacement of the slide towards its blocked position. The slide is placed in tightening units with respect to a support unit and equipped with blocking surface that defines a passage section for the rope. The slide has two blocking surfaces (60) intersected with the support surface.
