PURPOSE: A coil spring supporting protrusion for a hermetic compressor is provided to attenuate vibration and noise transferred to the entire compressor through the protrusion by reducing a contact area of the protrusion and a coil spring.;CONSTITUTION: A coil spring supporting protrusion for a hermetic compressor comprises a plate type supporting part(21) wherein a coil spring(S) is located on the supporting part and a protrusion(22) which is projected from the upper side of the supporting part and is inserted into the coil spring. Corners are formed in the outer circumference of the protrusion, and a contact area with the inner circumference is reduced. The corners of protrusion are curved. The protrusion comprises hexagonal corners. The lower-part of the supporting part comprises two or more stepped faces(22a,22b).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
