The device (1) has transporter rolling devices (4a, 4b) for moving the device on a road, and wheels (6a, 6b) for moving the device on a railway track. The wheels are arranged and adjusted vertical to the rolling devices. Track width of the wheels is continuously adjusted. The wheels are arranged at an end of bars (7a, 7b) that are connected with bearings that are arranged in a crosswise manner. A hydraulic height adjustment is carried out by using a foot pedal (10).
