The arrangement has a main gearbox (1) e.g. automatic gearbox, with a central hydraulic supply unit for operating switching elements of the box. A drive side (10) of either of the gearboxes is coupled with a gear wheel stage via a torque transmission element for transmitting drive torque to a front axle differential gear. A hydraulic controller (8) of the transfer gearbox is connected with the unit and provided in an axial direction between a parking gear wheel (9) of the main gearbox and a gear wheel stage i.e. beveloid drive, of the transfer gearbox for driving the gear.
