The device has first and second drive shafts (14,16) for torque transfer via first and second coaxial clutches (C1,C2), first and second output shafts (18,20) parallel to the drive shafts and connected to them by several gear wheel pairs and a final reduction gear (22) for changing the revolution rate ratio by selecting one of the gear wheel pairs. First and second final drive gear wheels (54,56) of different diameters on the first or second drive shafts transfer torque from the first and second output shafts to the final reduction gear.
