The sensor has a circular disk shaped measuring membrane (5) connected with a base body (1) in a pressure-tight manner under formation of a measuring chamber (3) by a joint patch (7). A metal pin (15) is inserted into a cylindrical opening (13) and is made of tantalum. The pin has a pin end (21), which lies opposite to a closing head (19) and is alignably locked with an end (25) of the opening, where the opening end is turned away from the membrane. The base body and the membrane are made of ceramic or corundum. A metallic body is made of molybdenum-titanium-zirconium alloy. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a pressure sensor.
