The method involves storing a reducing agent i.e. urea, as pellets in a firm aggregation condition in a reducing agent storage tank. The stored reducing agent is supplied from the reducing agent storage tank to a processing system in the firm aggregation condition by the compressed air. The reducing agent storage tank is rinsed with a preset volume of non-lubricated air after turning off a combustion system, where preset volume of non-lubricated air corresponds to air volume existing in the reducing agent storage tank before rinsing.
