Hop product, prepared from a brewing residue of a separate brewing process, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for preparing the hop product comprising adding increased amount of bitter hops in the form of hop product after completion of conformation of purity requirement of brewing process; (2) a method for brewing beer comprising obtaining brewing residue outside the brewery and using it as the hop product; and (3) beer, where the above hop product is added during the preparation of the beer.
