The unit has a valve block (18) abutting a hydraulic pump, and a controllable valve (20), which is arranged at a supply pipe to a hydraulic consumer. An electric motor has a stator housing (10) on one side of the block, which is opposite to a tank housing (26). A shaft of the motor is coupled with the pump through the block, where the block and the stator housing are formed as a single piece. The block has an axial bundled coil (22) on a side turning towards the tank housing, where the valve block and the stator housing are formed from metal casting.
