METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE REVEAL OF SLAVED ORGANS OF A LIN NETWORK, BY ANALYSIS OF REASON REASONS

A device (D) is dedicated to controlling the wake-up of slave devices (OE1-OE5) of a LIN (R) multiplexed communication network managed by a master device (OM). This device (D) is arranged, when the master member (OM) has detected an activity in the network (R) during a standby phase, i) for ordering the master member (OM) to transmit to some at least slave organs (OE1-OE5), and preferably all those that can be the cause of a wake-up request, dedicated interrogation messages, to which they must respectively respond by means of a response message comprising a state field whose value is representative of a local or non-local origin of the detected activity, then ii) to analyze the value of the state field of each of the response messages received by the master organ (OM) to determine if at least one slave organ is at the origin of the activity, and if so, whether the activity is justified by the associated state field value, and iii) to allow 'master organ (OM) to confirm the awakening of slave organs only if the activity is justified.
