PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly remove a carbonaceous deposit over the whole length of a riser and prevent hardening and increase of removing difficulty of the carbonaceous deposit by frequently performing the removing operation.;SOLUTION: The carbonaceous deposit removing apparatus 20 is configured to include a grinding means 20 to be inserted into the riser 1 of a coke oven 10 and grind the carbonaceous deposit 2 attached to the inner face of the riser 1, and a moving means 40 to vertically move the grinding means 20 in the riser 1. The grinding means 20 is provided with a rotor 34 supported by a rotary shaft 33 extending in vertical direction, a rotation driving apparatus 32 to rotate the rotor 34 with the rotary shaft 33, and a bendable grinding blade 35 formed on the outer circumference of the rotor 34.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
