PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse hepatitis virus-originated polypeptide high in specificity and trapping ability for mouse hepatitis virus antibody produced by a mouse infected by the mouse hepatitis virus, to provide a mouse hepatitis virus infection inspection kit which uses the same and can detect mouse hepatitis virus infection in high sensitivity, and to provide a method for detecting the mouse hepatitis virus infection.;SOLUTION: There is provided the polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence constituting mouse hepatitis virus antigen epitope exhibited by mouse hepatitis virus nuclear protein, and/or the amino acid sequence wherein one or more amino acids are deleted, replaced, inserted and/or added, and binds specifically to an anti-mouse hepatitis virus antibody produced by a mouse infected by the mouse hepatitis virus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
