Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the leading causes of liver cancer worldwide.In Malaysia,liver cancer is one of the main cancers detected in the population with an annual mortality rate of 6.1%in 2013.Hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection is one of the causes attributed to the incidence of HCC.HCV infection remains a major concern in Malaysia as many people are unaware of their infection status.With the accessibility and effectiveness of Direct Acting Agents(DAAs).
