PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for objectively and simply evaluating eating qualities of rice for cooking.;SOLUTION: The method for evaluating eating qualities of rice for cooking in which a soluble solid content in a solution when rice for cooking is stirred in the solvent under conditions satisfying formula (1) 10 m≤S×T≤140 m is measured.
