PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly corrosion-resistant and rustproof coating that imparts unprecedentedly excellent corrosion-resistant properties and rustproof properties to a steel material over a long period of time and is endowed with coating properties and economical efficiency. PSOLUTION: The Zn alloy particle for highly corrosion-resistant and rustproof coating contains 0.01-30 mass% of Mg, 0.01-30 mass% of Ca, the balance of Zn and unavoidable impurities and has a physically fractured surface and/or a crack having a length of at least 0.01 m or a crack having a depth of at least 0.01 m, an average particle size of 0.05-200 m and an average aspect ratio of the maximum diameter to the minimum diameter (maximum diameter/minimum diameter) of 1-1.5. The Zn alloy particle further contains one or two selected between 0.01-30 mass% of Al and 0.01-3 mass% of Si. The highly corrosion-resistant and rustproof coating comprises the particle.
