PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure confidentiality and completeness of certification about existence and disposal of a document and to strictly manage a document life cycle from generation to the disposal. PSOLUTION: This document disposal certification device 10 used by being loaded on either of a document generator 1 which generates the document, or a document disposal device 2 which disposes the document or a server device connected to them is constituted by providing a generation information acquisition means 11 for acquiring information regarding document generation by the document generator 1 as document existence certification information, a disposal information acquisition means 12 for acquiring information regarding document disposal by the document disposal device 2 as document disposal certification information and an information management means 13 for holding and managing the document existence certificate information and the document disposal certificate information by associating them with each other about the same document.
