PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical quantity detector for reducing the possibility of performing incorrect determination in the outside while a determination result and diagnostic information of the existence of an abnormality can be output, and to provide an abnormality diagnosis system of the physical quantity detector and an abnormality diagnostic method of the physical quantity detector.;SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnosis circuit 70 of an angular velocity detector 1 (an example of the physical quantity detector) includes monitoring determination circuits 710-1 to 710-5 for determining the existence of an abnormality of monitoring object signals 50-1 to 50-5, an abnormality determination circuit 720 for determining the existence of an abnormality of the angular velocity detector 1 based on the determination result of the monitoring determination circuits and generating an abnormality determination signal 722, a diagnostic information generation circuit 740 for generating a diagnostic information signal 742 including predetermined diagnostic information based on at least a part of the determination result of the monitoring determination circuits stored in memory 80, and a switch circuit 750 for selecting and outputting the abnormality determination signal 722 or diagnostic information signal 742 based on an output selection signal 64 generated from a control signal from the outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
