PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce easily a vibration acceleration of a vehicle body.;SOLUTION: A member 1 simulating a vehicle body is supported by air springs 5 arranged on the upper surfaces of members 2a, 2b simulating a truck, and the member 1 simulating the vehicle body is connected to the members 2a, 2b simulating the truck with a damper 6. The members 2a, 2b simulating the truck are excited by hydraulic actuators 7a, 7b operated by an excitation command from a control device 8. In this running testing device for a railway vehicle, an acceleration is detected by acceleration sensors 9a, 9b installed on the member 1 simulating the vehicle body. An excitation command value for exciting the members 2a, 2b simulating the truck is determined from an inverse function of a vibration transmission function from an excitation command value to a vehicle body vibration acceleration which is determined beforehand by exciting the member 1 simulating the truck, and the vehicle body vibration acceleration measured beforehand. Even in the case of aerodynamic disturbance working directly on the vehicle body, the same vibration acceleration can be simulated by vibration from the members simulating the truck, and therefore the running testing device is not required to be enlarged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
