PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-groove substrate for optical fiber array which is capable of having high V-groove accuracy, superior in long-term reliability and inexpensive, and to provide a method of manufacturing the V-groove substrate and a PLC module which uses the V-groove substrate.;SOLUTION: The V-groove substrate 10 for optical fiber array includes a V-groove base 12 made of glass material on which a plurality of V-grooves 11 are formed; a coating reception base 13 made of glass material on which the coated part of the optical fiber is mounted; and a substrate body 14, made of a glass material for adjusting the total height of the product.
