PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very thin high-strength steel sheet for two-piece can with a sheet thickness of 0.20 mm or less, superior in a deep drawing property, which generates little earing, and gives a high strength to the sheet after strain ageing, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.;SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the very thin cold-rolled steel sheet for can with a thickness of 0.20 mm or less, having little in-plane anisotropy in r-value, comprises heating a raw steel material including 0.1% or less C, 0.0090-0.0140% N, 0.05-0.60% Mn, and 0.02-0.20% Al, finish rolling it at a stopping temperature FDT of 860°C or higher, winding it up at a winding temperature CT of 620°C-710°C, subjecting it to a primary rolling with a cold reduction of 90% or less, and continuously annealing it at an annealing temperature lower than an Ac₁ transformation point, further with or without temper rolling at a reduction rate of 2% or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
