PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf device for feeding an object to be conveyed in approximately orthogonal to a conveyance direction of an upstream conveyance shelf.;SOLUTION: The shelf device has a switching shelf 3. When receiving the object W to be conveyed from a receiving attitude wherein the object W conveyed from the upstream conveyance shelf 2 in the conveyance direction can be received, the switching shelf 3 is tilted by an action of weight of the received object W, and is switched to a feeding attitude wherein the object W is fed approximately orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the upstream conveyance shelf 2.
