PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-based composite powder for a positive electrode material of a lithium secondary battery, which can simultaneously achieve improvement of load characteristics such as rate/output characteristics, cost reduction, resistance to high voltage, and high safety. PSOLUTION: This lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-based composite powder for a positive electrode material of a lithium rechargeable battery is represented by the following composition formula (I), formed by including a crystalline structure belonging to a layered structure, wherein, in powder X-ray diffraction measurement using a CuK-ray, when it is assumed that the half-value width of the (110) diffraction peak where a diffraction angle 2 is present around 64.5 is FWHM(110), 0.01FWHM(110)0.2 is satisfied.
