METHODS TO IMPROVE THE GRAPE SUGAR DEVELOPMENT, TO INCREASE THE GRAPE SUGAR CONTENT AND TO INCREASE THE GRAPE SUGAR DEVELOPMENT RATE. The development of grape sugar is improved by applying a composition comprising an iron chelate to the vine or vine site. The advantages include increasing the overall sugar content of grapes and increasing the rate of sugar development. A preferred iron chelate is EDDHA iron chelate, commercially available as SEQUESTRENE 138 Fe 100.
