The use in the medical-surgical field of biomaterials based on hyaluronic acidderivatives, optionally in association with natural, synthetic orsemisynthetic biopolymers, for suppressing the angiogenic process associatedwith tumour proliferation (in primary and secondary tumours) is disclosed.
