Abstract of the Disclosure There is provided a soil core sample storage container for visual inspection with the naked eye of soil core samples R placed therein, comprising: a box with a bottom and three side walls, wherein the box includes a side opening and a top opening; a plurality of drawers to be received in the box through the side opening of the box; and a cover to be positioned to enclose the top opening of the box or to be removed from the top opening, wherein the drilled soil core samples R are held in the drawers and the drawers are slid in/out from the box, to make it easy to store the soil core samples R for a long time or to move them, and wherein the storage container is essentially composed of a transparent material, to make it possible to fully inspect the soil core samples R regardless of a view angle so that the properties according to the relevant geological stratum can be accurately determined, described and evaluated to improve the reliability of the evaluation.
