Provided is a classification hierarchy re-creation system capable of, when an already existing classification hierarchy is reconstructed to create a new classification hierarchy, efficiently creating a classification hierarchy in which the hierarchical relationship of classifications is considered and a classification hierarchy in which classifications having the same meaning are integrated. A clustering means clusters a data group made to correspond to a hierarchized classification and creates a classification group that is a group created by extracting, among the classifications corresponding to the respective data sets in the cluster, classifications that satisfy a predetermined condition. A co-occurrence degree calculation means calculates the degree of co-occurrence of two classifications selected from the classification group. A classification hierarchy re-creation means re-creates a classification hierarchy on the basis of the classification group and the degree of co-occurrence.
