PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL HAVING A KEYING FEATURE THEREON

A photovoltaic panel having at least one distinctive feature and electrodes of positive and negative electrical polarity further comprises at least one keying feature located on the panel in a location spaced from the electrodes. The keying feature is disposed in a predetermined relationship with respect to the distinctive feature of the panel. The keying feature on the panel is cooperatively associable with a complementary keying feature on another member such that the distinctive feature on the panel occupies a predetermined positional relationship with respect to a distinctive feature on the other member when the panel and the other member are operatively arrayed with each other. An electrode on the panel may comprise the distinctive feature.
