PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image feature amount vs keyword dictionary constructing device for reducing the dispersion which is caused by an artificial error, of a keyword made to correspond to an image in an image database.;SOLUTION: The device for constructing image feature amount vs keyword dictionary is provided with a means 102 for inputting an electronic document file and an image file inserted to the electronic document file, a means 103 for extracting the feature amount of an object contained in the image file by analyzing the image file, a means 104 for calculating a score corresponding to a keyword candidate by analyzing the electronic document file and extracting the keyword candidate corresponding to the object from the electronic document file, and means 105 and 106 for registering the feature amount, the keyword candidate and the score while making them correspond to one another on the image feature amount-keyword dictionary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
