The present invention relates to the field of sports equipment. No prior techniques exist for solving the stated problem. The removable outer sole for spiked athletic shoe was invented so as to carry out rapid and efficient cleaning of the mud accumulated underneath the shoe after use on soft ground. By actuating a valve located at the rear of the shoe, the user can instantaneously release the sole from the shoe so as to return the clean shoes to the changing room. The principle of operation is mechanical and very simple. The removable sole (B) detaches from and attaches to the shoe (A) by means of the valve (C) located at the rear of the sole and pressing against the heel of the shoe. A horizontal strip (D) located at the base of the valve is flush with and bears against the horizontal projection located at the base of the heel of the shoe, thus exerting sufficient pressure to hold both elements thereon. The pressure exerted by the valve generates a slight recoil of the heel, thus enabling the spur (E) located in the front of the shoe to be flush with the sole.
