The piston has a supporting bar (12) arranged between two front disks (9), where the bar comprises toothing (5) that is designed as a straight pinion and arranged at an angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the piston. The bar is joined to the disks by resistance welding, where each disk exhibits a contour with a recess and an elevation. The recess receives excess material during a welding process. The contour is formed as an area in the form of a circular sector or segment. The interior of a housing (2) is filled with hydraulic fluid that is overflowed via channels and valves. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a piston.
