The closure unit has a housing (1) in which a piston (2) is linear displaceably guided and drivable by movement of a door. The piston with certain part of length is guided in a running case (4), where the case executes rotational motion with linear movement of the piston. The piston and the case are connected via link guides. A sliding block (6) radially projects from the piston and guided into a groove (7) that is arranged in the case. The groove runs in an axial direction of the case. A spring element e.g. spiral spring (8) and helical spring, is supported in a housing portion (9).
