PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automatically adjusting difficulty of an evaluation question using multi knowledge in a self directed learning system are provided to reflect multi accomplishments to a difficulty measuring element of an evaluation question, thereby performing measurement based on more objective and scientific facts. CONSTITUTION: A teacher(170) initializes difficulty of each evaluation question. Evaluation questions suitable for a grade of each internal leaner(180) are selected and provided. Evaluation information is saved. Difficulty according to each evaluation question is calculated based on the stored evaluation information. Difficulty based on each question is updated.
