REDUCED DEAD-VOLUME BETWEEN ORBIT-VANE AND SLIDER FOR ORBIT-VANE ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A rotary vane and a slider for minimizing the dead-volume of a rotary vane compressor are provided to prevent excessive friction between the end of the rotary vane and the end of the slider. CONSTITUTION: The radius of a circling motion is determined. The radius is determined as the radius of an arc which is curved at the center of the section of the ends, facing each other, of the rotary vane. A parallel line of the slider central line is line-contacted with the arc of the end of a rotary vane so the angle is determined. A contact point in which a line in parallel to the central line of the slider and the arc of the end of the rotary vane meet each other is calculated, so the width of an inflection point is determined.
