PURPOSE: An aligning device for a slab or a plate with a high aspect ratio is provided to reduce production decrease by removing a setting time for a rolling path if a piece is misaligned.;CONSTITUTION: A rolling mill comprises a roller table(7) and a mechanical stopping unit. The roller table comprises a plurality of transport rollers(8a) and a pair of work rollers(2). The transport rollers transport workpieces(1) toward the work rollers. The mechanical stopping unit comprises edge or front face parallel to the rotating axis of the work roller. The mechanical stopping unit operates between first and second positions. The first position exists in the path of the workpiece transported to the work roller. The second position is removed from the path.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
