PURPOSE: A methacrylic resin composition is provided to produce an extruded light guide panel with enough heat resistance and excellent productivity by reusing the loss(chips) caused during a cutting process. CONSTITUTION: A methacrylic resin composition for an extruded light guide panel comprises a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and acrylic acid ester. The ratio of a methyl methacrylate unit in the composition determined by analysis through pyrolysis-gas chromatography is 96 weight% or greater. A reduced viscosity measured at 25 C of a chloroform solution having the concentration of 0.01 g/cm^3 is 60 cm^3/g - 80 cm^3/g.
