PURPOSE: A selective booting method and broadcasting receiving device using the same are provided to rapidly perform a function desired by a user. ;CONSTITUTION: A broadcast is received through a broadcasting receiver. A display(450) displays the broadcast. In a storage unit(500), drivers of hardware of the broadcasting receiver are saved. A controller(460) selectively loads a driver of the hardware necessary for performing a selected function among a plurality of functions.
