PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing effective extracts using coffee remnants is provided to prepare bio oil and active ingredients such as antioxidant materials, and to reuse coffee remnants discarded as food waste. ;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing effective extracts using coffee remnants comprises the steps of: (110) mixing coffee remnants with alcohol, filtering the mixture, and extracting a biomass from which alcohol extracts are removed; (120) mixing hexane with the biomass, filtering the mixture, removing solid components, and extracting crude bio oil; (130) reacting the crude bio oil with an acidic solvent to separate an aqueous solution layer and a crude bio oil layer; and (140) removing free fatty acids from the crude bio oil layer using a basic solvent to extract bio oil.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
